The tribal jewels Twiga

Today I will not speak to you about the typical jewels in gold and silver but about a proposal different from feminine necklaces. It is a question of the tribal jewels of Twiga, the bijouterie that comes from Africa done to hand and with pieces of more than hundred years of antiquity.

It would cause of Tanzania, Twiga began like merchant in the Tribal Art somewhere near 1987 and today, 23 years later, it has his own gallery in the city of San Francisco. There it assembles his works of art and ancient jewels re-interpreted in contemporary designs.

If you did not know it, when this artisan returns to his native village, it still thinks that his neighbors live without water or electricity. For it the fact is that Twiga created the organization without ends of lucre Mbinga Children that devotes itself to the construction of schools, provision of water drinking and taken care of the health of the orphan children by the AIDS in Tanzania.

The success of the jewels Twiga has done that his pieces are exhibited in shops like Saks Fifth Avenue, Takashimaya, Last, and Gift Shop in Field Museum in Chicago.

Really, a very novel proposal for women who look for the only jewels. If you want to know the page of his gallery click here.
